about us

how big is the team?

deliberately small and senior. you talk to the people doing the work, and we bring in specialists we've worked with before when a project needs one. we'd rather turn work down than staff it with someone we can't vouch for.

we're small on purpose. every project has one named senior person doing the actual work, and that's who you email, who joins the call, and who answers for the result. there's no account manager in between, and no junior you never met doing the build.

when we bring someone in

some projects need a skill we don't carry every day: a particular integration, or a stack we know less well. when that happens we bring in a specialist we've worked with before, on the same fixed scope and under the same contract. you still deal with us, and we still answer for the work. what we won't do is hire a stranger off a marketplace to hit a deadline. if we can't staff a job with people we trust, we say no and, where we can, point you at who should do it instead.

what the size buys you

  • whoever scoped the work is the person who ships it, so the estimate is honest
  • decisions, access, and how it all runs live in documents you keep. nothing depends on any one head
  • a reply within one business day from someone who already knows your system

it also has a limit. a small senior team has an agreed capacity, not unlimited hours, and there's a company size at which engineers on staff win outright. if you're there, we'll tell you. if you already have developers or an agency, we usually take the parts they don't cover rather than compete with them. that's most of what a technical partner means in practice.
