we're tiny. is there a minimum?
small projects are welcome, and a landing page or a one-day fix is real work. if something is too small to be worth engaging us for, we'll say so and tell you how to do it yourself.
there's no minimum project size. what there is: some jobs are too small to be worth paying us for, and when that's the case we say so and tell you how to do it yourself.
what counts as real work
smaller than people expect. a marketing site usually ships in 1–3 days, and that's a normal engagement, not a favour. so is a one-day fix. the small or weird projects we take on include migrating a mailbox, rescuing a site the last agency walked away from, turning a spreadsheet into a real tool, and setting up backups that were never configured. small companies tend to have exactly these problems, and nobody on staff whose job it is to fix them.
where we'll point you elsewhere
changing the phone number in the footer, renewing a domain, creating a mailbox for a new colleague. if it's a ten-minute task with a settings page, we'd rather send you the three steps than an invoice. that answer arrives within one business day, the same as any other message.
if you're tiny and the need is ongoing
a tiny team often needs someone technical for a few hours a month rather than for one project. that's what a small retainer is for: a flat monthly number sized to the hours and response time you need, month to month, with unused hours rolling over one month. and if what you need is an hour of advice and a written recommendation, that's cheaper still.
write anyway. the worst case is a reply saying "you don't need us for this, here's how".
